When you enquire/enroll with JT Dance we collect some information on you/the pupil. This is held sucurely and is never shared with third parties. The information is only used whilst you are a member of the school, and is needed to communicate with you in the case of emergencies, or to give you information regarding your classes etc. If you do not come to any classes, or decide to leave your information will be deleted after 3 months, or instantly (on request)
From time to time we may upload pictures to the facebook group (with permission) This is a closed group and can only be viewed by current members of our school. You may ask for anything to be removed and your request will be honoured.
If you/your child takes part in any exams with the RAD their name and date of birth will be given to the RAD. Without this, they will not be able to take their exam. The RAD DO NOT share this with anybody else, and is only for the purpose of certificate printing and to check they are eligible to take the exam as there are minimum age requirements set.
When we participate in our Shows, we must send a list of all dancers to the council, and their date of birth. This is to get our performance licence waivered. They have to check that each pupil has not danced for more than a certain amount of hours per year, or will have to apply for a performance licence.
You can request to receive an file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
